County Board: Another Incumbent Gets a Challenger

This is updated as of 1/4 at about, 4:15. At this point, papers have to be filed by 5:00 tomorrow, Tuesday 1/5/2010. There are 13 races where the paperwork is all turned in, 8 potential races if more paperwork comes in. 16 incumbents remain unchallenged - Ronn Ferrell being the latest to pick up a race. There are 2 potential primaries, but rumors are at least one won't happen. Declarations of non-candidacy were due December 28th, so now, if anyone backs out, the deadline for filing will be extended.  Remember, its not official until they have all their paperwork in (Registration Statement, Declaration of Candidacy and 50 Signatures - the Statement of Interest is a County Requirement and not due until January 19th.) So . . . here is who is on the ballot, and who is not. - its official on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 5:00 in the clerk's office . . . until then, who knows what might happen. And if you spot any mistakes or have websites I should link to, PLEASE let me know! When in doubt about this information, check with the friendly county clerk's office.
