This was hard to brainstorm, because people just wanted to list the various types of discrimination and protected classes.

I am sorry but I believe that landlords should have the right t reject people that have had credit problems if it involves problems with paying their rent in the past, certain criminal offenses, as well as people that have been evicted from previous housing for violation of rules and leases. There are other reason I feel landlords should have the right to reject renters but they would be to numerous to mention. Good landlords who keep their properties up and try to run good communities should have the right to say who he can lease or rent to.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but I'm not clear what your concern is. Landlords can reject for credit problems, some criminal offenses in some circumstances and for previous evictions.
ReplyDeleteOf course, that makes it hard for some people to find housing and we need landlords who will take a chance on people or ways for these folks to show that they can be good renters. Otherwise, where will they live?
